Saltwater is where the roots of our rod builder run the deepest. Back in the 70’s most of the top fishermen (also known as Highliners) fished beautiful custom rods. This is where we gained an appreciation for true craftsmanship and the classic, traditional beauty of threadwork. You do not see much of this custom work anymore because of the amount of time necessary to build each rod.
Each Highliner Custom Rod is individually numbered and personalized with each client’s name. These rods on average will be lighter and stronger than anything you have ever fished.

We have a very established international clientele located in such countries as Japan, Canada, Germany, England, Italy, and Belgium. We have even shipped rods to the US Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan.
